Key Plus is an academically focused living learning community at CSU but works more closely with students to develop strong leadership and career decision-making skills. Key Plus is an optional sophomore year program for students who participated in the Key Academic, Key Service, Key Explore or Key Health Professions Communities during their first year at Colorado State University (CSU). If you apply and are selected for participation, you will be a member of the 11th class!

The Key Plus Learning Community is an honorary opportunity with up 75 spaces, so students must apply and be selected to participate in the program. There is an affiliated 3-credit class within the Learning Community and students have first option to live on the Key Plus floors in Braiden. However students may also live off-campus and be involved.

There is also a new option to not enroll in classes but become a part of the Key Plus "Leaders Engaging in Academics, Diversity, and Service" or LEADS floors in Braiden. There are 76 spaces available on the LEADS floors in 3 SE/SW Braiden Hall. Students are able to select spaces on the floor after Learning Community students have signed up.

The goals of the Key Plus Community are to:

In this community, students take advantage of group study opportunities, health professions interest workshops, and opportunities to build connections with faculty, staff and students.

The Key Explore Community provides undeclared first-year students with the opportunity to explore their majors and academic paths. In this residential learning community students will have a chance to create your own story in order to plan your major, career, and leadership paths.
